Let’s make the regenessance of our planet irresistible!
I'm Angela del Sol, a multifaceted creative director, social entrepreneur, and climate activist. My journey, shaped by global experiences and a deep love for nature, has led me to pioneer "Ancient Futurism" - a concept merging cutting-edge technology with natural law and indigenous wisdom to impact tech and culture design.
My vision is to catalyze a global shift in consciousness, fostering a society that prioritizes well-being and harmony with our planet. I believe that art and culture are the most powerful ways to influence and communicate these ideas.
My approach is characterized by:
Radical imagination
Mental health
Environmental regeneration
Community and collaboration
Tech forward views by and for humans
I draw inspiration from various sources, including the Solarpunk movement, which envisions a sustainable future interconnected with nature and community using art and radical imagination.
My work also incorporates elements of South America’s magical realism, Afrofuturism, and messages from the animal and plant kingdoms that I've gathered through deep spiritual journeys across the world - from caves in India to monasteries to the North Pole, I aim to infuse with great humbleness and deep reverence and respect for the sacred into my work.
As an entrepreneur, I have learned that failure is only a redirection for the next challenge and here I am with a lot of tools in my tool box ready to be of service to brands, institutions and people that can use my knowledge and talents.
As an artist, creative director, social entrepreneur, and climate activist, I'm passionate about bridging culture and technology to create tangible impact. I have 15 years of experiece. My journey began at 25 when I founded Solare Creative, an event production agency for startups and social businesses. There, I honed my skills in communication, branding, and marketing to create large-scale festivals and conferences that infused my love for art, music, and culture.
My passion for art manifests in supporting emerging artists and making art accessible to wider audiences. I've curated unique experiences for collectors at prestigious events like the Frieze Art Fair and provided accessible coverage of major art events. Believing in art's transformative power, I've led large-scale projects such as a 30x30 ft mural in New York's Lower East Side benefiting young immigrant girls, and Seed Evolution, a public art initiative focused on regeneration and education during 2020 elecetions.
As a climate advocate, I've represented youth interests at the United Nations, promoting Sustainable Development Goals. My fundraising efforts have secured over funding for solar power and clean water projects in Puerto Rico and Colombia, my humanitarian work has been recognized by artist Olafur Eliasson's Little Sun Energy project.
In our current world, where authenticity is scarce and disconnection prevalent, I aim to bridge the gap between often-overlooked indigenous wisdom and the modern wellness industry. My work injects playfulness and meaningful connection into people's lives, challenging the superficial narratives dominating our "burning world."
All these efforts are inspired by my young niece, Aria Nala, and children worldwide. Through the concept of Ancient Futurism, I envision and work towards a more harmonious, creative, and regenerative future where technology enhances rather than replaces our connection to nature and each other.
